BBS for fans of the Commodore Amiga
Great gathering place. The board has a quite busy Tradewars 2002 game in progress as well as its own IRC system.
Originally began life on a Commodore Vic-20 in 1983 using modified Electric Magazine basic BBS software which was written and sold for the C=64. Ran Hal's BBS on the 64 for a while and then EBBS on the 128. Moved to my Amiga in 1986 and ran the following different software packages: BBS-PC!, Paragon, Starnet, MEBBSNet and finally Excelsior! Shut down in 1997 and reopened in 2018 using Excelsior! for a short time (has a y2k bug) and then moved to Zeus which it is currrently running. We have weekly chats every Saturday nite at 10pm EST. Join us if you can.
Official C-Net Amiga Support BBS
BBS was launched publicly for the first time in December 1998, continuing as a 24/7 service until 2002, when the relocation caused a shortage of the telephone line and the telnet transfer was not successful despite a major attempt.
The restart took place in 2013 when we got help setting up telnet
The BBS is still in the same condition as in 2002, and the downloaded files are still stored. BBS changed to English in 2015
