Hardware Details
Running on a VIC-20 from 1982 along with: VIC-1011A RS-232 adapter, SD2IEC drive with 16MB SD Card, 37K RAM expander with built-in RTC. The VIC (using the 1011A) is connected via a null modem cable to a Debian Linux server which (via the tcpser utility) translates the Telnet traffic into packets the VIC understands.
Description of BBS

Resurrecting my BBS from the early 1980's - the Live Wire BBS lives again! In 1983 I wrote my own BBS program on my VIC-20 and ran a very successful board in the Toronto area. Now, over 40 years later, I am doing it again! This BBS runs on a VIC-20 and is formatted to look correct on VIC-20 screens. It will also work on C64 and C128 clients.
