This is a simple little process that has worked in many cases for me over the years to make failed floppy disk’s work again. With the use of a Radio Shack audio / video tape eraser I have given extended life to both 3.5″ and 5.25″ floppy disks. But if you’re not careful you can make an already failing disk become nothing more than a useless floppy.
