Hi all! Check out ATDT BBS Software when you have a chance. It runs entirely on the web (installs on cheap shared hosting, ultra light weight), no Telnet required. From the SysOp side of things - it's completely configurable, down to the user level (the board could look completely different user by user), has a built in ANSI editor, etc. It has an API for Doors (I include a couple of simple ones as examples... HILO and Star Merchant, which is an homage to TradeWars). Completely free of course, this is just a hobby project in my spare time.
Here is the website where you can download the release version: removed link
Here is the demo BBS so you can see it live: removed link /atdt
The user can change their baud rate to emulate an actual modem; the default is 9600 but you can do 300/1200/2400/9600 or have the menus display instantly.
It looks interesting!
😉
This is a cool concept and interesting, had to go visit to see it in action and looks great so far!
