Commodore 64 BBS (C64BBS)

This is the first Image 3.0 BBS to run 24/7 on the all new Commodore 64 Ultimate system!
We are fully networked with NISSA for our Message Sub Boards (Forums), our Net Wall (Grafitti Wall)
The BBS is currently running on a Commodore 64 Ultimate, with a piCMD HardDrive (gigz of storage) and a FD-4000 mostly used for our RTC.

This BBS started out as an experiment in Jan 2026 to see how to make the Image BBS run on the Commodore 64 Ultimate. Along the way we found issues with the C64U that Gideon fix promptly and forced the first firmware update for the C64U, fixing a modem issue in the swiftlink. Since one of the developers of Image worked out making the C64U Turbo work correctly with Image BBS and many other little things have been worked out along the way also.

Our newest feature as of the month of August 2026 is the all new piCMD HardDrive by Scott H. This is a game changer for the speed of the BBS!
