This Sierra On-Line Software, "Sierra Christmas Card 1988" was originally put out in 1988 for the MS-DOS PC as the updated version of the 1986 "A Christmas Card". This 1988 version was capable of using EGA graphics and supported multiple sound cards.
This screensaver version is a video capture of the original MS-DOS version playing in an emulation environment with EGA graphics and the audio is using a Roland MT-32 sound driver. You can toggle the sound on and off for this screensaver.
