As far as I remember, at 38400 I couldn't do U/D properly either on punter or xmodemcrc.
At 2400 U/D it runs at xmodemcrc 100%. and the punter is probably just a download only.

I guess I will need to start testing things on my system with Striketerm from my U64.. Sorry for it not working well..

I don't think it will help the upload/download performance, but it will make some obscure BBS programs work well.. Hopefully, Jim updates TCPSER to do this because I think it might help me with getting my C-Net 128 version online... I know not much help..

Pity. By connecting two CCGMS p2p CCGMS on Vice I am able to send punter 38400 between them without error.
And in connections with CCGMS - BBSs, the punter works correctly only up to 2400.

I think a lot of the issues are timing issues with telnet. Both instances of CCGMS transfer with no issues, I can transfer with Image Term to another Image BBS usually with little to no changes, but going from CCGMS to Image or for that matter CNet is a no go.. I don't have any answers unfortunately...

Can the Mini Terminal (MT) in Image3.0 send/receive files? I wanted to do a test.

Yes, it can send and receive files from the waiting for call screen hit the back arrow key and Image term will load, once you get the menu you will see what it can do, it is pretty much a full fledged term program... Years back there was a stand alone version for 1.2. I might take a look at that as a side project and update it to 3.0.

I don't know how to apply what you wrote.
If I call from CCGMS to MT it answers the call automatically after the first RING.

I thought you had a full Image BBS running and was going into the built in term program. If that is the case then you just hit the back arrow key from the waiting for call screen and it will load up the term.. Otherwise, there is no mini term program, there is a MT command from the main prompt but that only works from local mode and is useless in my opinion.. I am not sure what you mean by MT though...

I tested the punter between CCGMS and with Image-Term (<- on iddle screen)

transfer punter 38400 from CCGMS to Image-Term without success, multiple ACKs and error
transfer punter 38400 from Image-Term to CCGMS is OK, no error

I did not check on lower transfer rates.

This is a better result than after logging into BBS, where there are errors and multiple ACKs on the download from ImageBBS to CCGMS.
However, transfer punter 38400 CCGMS<>CCGMS works flawlessly both ways.

Give Multi punter a try even for just a single file. Last night at the jitsi chat a couple of people said that multi punter works pretty well. Other then that, unfortunately I have no answers.. Wish I could give you a fix for it, but I don't have any others.. 🙁
