Okay I have a problem!
The new release of the Commodore 64C is killing me. I have u64's, c64u, and a pile of Commodore 64c's and Commodore 64's (including my ver first one in 1980 something). But with the anoucement of the new Commdore 64c Ultimate, I am jone'sing! I am such a sucker for the wedge desgin. So For the past few weeks there have been at least 5 times I put the basic (in my oppinion the most sexy) C64cU in the cart. But not pulled the trigger yet as I seriously don't need another one it will just sit. But my gut (which never lies and has always been spot on sensing things) tells me I will be ordering a C64cU very soon. This addiction is crazy!

The addiction is real! I have two Starlight breadbins, an ultimate UE2 and two original ultimate elites(one bricked).
I ordered a Starlight C64C!
Plus honestly I’ve lost count of the original C64s and versions I have.
The new ultimates I actually look forward to using. Modern computers have no character. They are all cookie-cutter designs. Even the OS’s are so similar that not much differentiates them.
So even with limitations of old software and resources on a 64 and the flaws of the new Ultimate in not exactly being compatible with everything; I will take a new Commodore Ultimate over anything else any day of the week.
Add in some modern Hard Drive and Floppy Drive reproductions and you end up with a fun expressive system!
