I have the vice installed but when I was configuring the drives I seen it had a LTK drives HD0 - HD6 but it was asking me browse where the driver was set up. anyone know anything about this option and where to get those drivers or config files vice is asking for

 

Yes, attached is the LT Kernal set up for Vice, unzip it and read the ltkinstall.txt file for instructions on how to set up.. My suggestion is create a directory on your main drive (C:\ for Windows, or the HOME directory in Linux) called Vice with subfolders Bins, DiskImages, and Configs. Put the HD images (included in the zip file) in the DiskImages folders, set up Vice completely then save a config file to the Configs directory (I use config.ini) and then in the Bin directory you can put the crt and bin files these directories will be needed in the set up process so make sure you point to the right directories. Once fully installed you will have a full blown LTK set up! If you need help just post a message I usually check here every few days or drop me a line on Facebook in my The Wrong Number Family of BBS' group, I will reply within a few hours there.

One quick other item about the LTK.. If you used a Muxer in the past you will be happy to know you can pesudo use a Muxer with the new files. I currently run a muxed set up as my test bed for writing Pfiles...

Just a quick note, I am not sure if you are the same person or not, I think I reached out to you on Facebook but if you are not the same person, I will make you the same offer I made that person. If you want me to help set up your system running a LTK Emulation (This person was trying to set up his system in Linux) I will be more then happy to, I would need you to install RealVNC set up an account and I would log in on a Saturday afternoon while you are there. Set up Vice in Linux or Vice in Windows if you want , set up the entire LTK set up, and have you up and running to the point where in WIndows you would double click a icon and the BBS would boot to waiting for call OR in Linux you would open a terminal window and type bbs.sh and it would boot to waiting for call.. The only thing you would need to do after I am done is updated the Image software to the latest fixes etc that X-Tec has released. I don't have a pre set up files ready to go only a LTK set up with the base files.. Besides that would give you a chance to get caught up with how Image is now.. Let me know.. I am more then happy to do this...
