Welcome to the Message Boards!

We are using the term Message Boards as that is what I grew up calling it in the BBS era until the internet took off and with the passage of time the term Message Board has become Forum. These boards are going to be evolving over time, as with any message boards/forums I have personally ran over the decades I don't start out with a lot of areas. Instead, I like to have just a few and as topics evolve, I then create those popular topics into their own message board. I have found over the years this to work well and I am sure it will do the same here also.

The rules are simple, just have respect for others and please remember to keep this a family friendly place!

I would also like to take this time to address the question of "Why not just use social media in place of the Message Boards?"

The answer is simple, more and more folks don't want their information out on social media. Some folks just don't want to use social media anymore. There are about a dozen other reasons that I won't go into. The whole point of Message Boards (or forums) is so the information is available to all, once a problem is resolved the solution will always be here so others might find it and it will help them also. Plus, you don't have to sign up to see the content (as you do with more social media these days), it’s just there to share with all.
